One day an extraordinary emu was born, but it was all alone. Bob the alien came by. He had never seen this type of creature before.
Is he one of us? Bob thought. He was very interested.
The creature was brown and white. It was striped and had big legs. It looked wingless. It looked like something recently born, maybe less than 24 hours ago. It had a very long neck.
Bob was afraid to touch it. He’d never seen anything like it. What if it hurt him? He thought it might feel furry and fluffy.
It smelled a lot like strawberries. Yuck. Bob didn’t like the smell of strawberries. But it was still cute.
Suddenly it let out a small scream. Oh my, Bob thought. It was scary. It was going to chase him. Bob almost ran, but in the distance, he saw a terrible alien approach. It was Drago Bloody Fist. They had met before and it had been horrible.
Bob couldn’t bear for this little newborn to perish at Drago Bloody Fist’s hands, all eight of them. Bob only had six hands, a much better number. While Bob was a beautiful red, Drago Bloody Fist was a yucky bright blue, way too bright!
Quickly, Bob snatched up the little baby and raced off to his ship. The baby cuddled in Bob’s arms. Why had he been so afraid? This baby was sweet. Bob felt all nice inside. He loved this little, strange creature. He hoped he could protect it from Drago Bloody Fist, but he was scared.
They made it to the ship, and Bob locked the doors behind them. He took off. Then he realized the little tyke was hungry. He fed it a bagel. He loved bagels. They were yummy and salty.
From his window, he saw Drago Bloody Fist chasing them. Bob had the better ship, but Drago Bloody Fist had rocket launchers. Bob had to evade him. He zipped away, dodging between planets and meteors.
Finally, he landed. It was a planet he’d never seen before. He was lost. Bob and his new best friend left the ship.
Suddenly, the creature got vey excited. It made lots of little peeps and began to sniff like crazy. It hopped out of Bob’s hands and rushed off, sniffing. Bob followed. They quickly found a town.
Wow, thought Bob. That little creature had an amazing power of smell.
The town was populated by a species that was pink and much shorter than Bob. They only had four hands. Unlike Bob, who had seven eyes, these aliens had ten eyes.
The aliens greeted Bob as a friend. “Welcome!” they said.
Then, their leader pointed at the little baby. “What is that?” He seemed afraid.
Bob said, “Don’t worry; iis friendly and kind. It screams loudly, and has a great sense of smell.”
“We are glad,” said the leader. “Why are you here?”
“We are lost,” said Bob. “Can you help us?”
“Yes, we can,” said the leader. “We know your species. We know how to lead you to your planet. Come, follow us.”
Bob and the little creature went back to their ship and followed. All of a sudden, there was a loud blast. Uh-oh, thought Bob, it was Drago Bloody Fist. He had found them! The little creature, saw Drago Bloody Fist and began to scream. It screamed so loudly that Bob had to cover his ears. Through the window, he saw Drago Bloody Fist cover his ears too. That alien had super sensitive hearing! Drago Bloody Fist stepped backward and fell out of the rocket launch hole. He floated off into space.
Wow! Bob thought. This little baby has quite a super power. I want to keep it forever!
The End.
