The dragon guarded her cave. Cursing Maniac, the witch, watched. He floated on a cloud and spied on the dragon through a crystal ball. Curse knew this dragon. She was Samantha. Curse had put a spell on the dragon many years ago. He had made her forget their past together.
Curse turned his crystal ball on the cave and saw what Samantha guarded. It was a baby dragon!
Samantha was the largest dragon Curse had ever seen. She was at least ten times bigger than Curse. She was neon red. Her spikes, that ran down her back, were on fire. Burning spikes! Very dangerous. Curse still had scars on his back from when he had been burned by those spikes. Samantha shot plasma from her mouth but not right now. It was very dangerous plasma.
Though Curse had only ever touched her spikes, he thought her skin would be hard as a rock. Curse remembered that Samantha smelled like armpits. It was the one thing he loved about Samantha. Such a beautiful smell! Just perfect. Curse knew that Samantha was calm right now, because when she was angry, she stomped and stomped and stomped very loudly!
Suddenly, an alien whirlwind creature swirled by. He was eating dead fish. Curse almost threw up. Dead fish tasted sweet like earthworms, and nothing was more disgusting to Curse. Ewww!
Then, the alien created a void and sucked everything from that part of the world into a deep, dark place. The dragon, the cave, the trees, the baby dragon, everything sucked away!
Wow, thought Curse. This alien was cool. He quickly moved his cloud near the alien. “Hey, let’s work together. We can do great things. For instance, you sucked up many creatures. But look at what I can do.” He waved his wand and a jaguar lifted out of the deep, dark place. When he was floating in the sky, Curse said, “Be of many shapes!” The jaguar became a bunny, then a rhinoceros, and then a snake.
“That is a cool trick,” said the whirlwind alien. “My name is Vortex and I would be happy to work with you. I want to start a zombie apocalypse. With your shapeshifting magic and my power, we can do great things!”
“Wait a second,” said Curse, “A zombie apocalypse? I don’t think that’s a great idea. Zombies are so messy. This is my dominion. I am not down with that.”
“Then we are enemies,” said Vortex.
Curse said, “So be it.”
Curse threw a force field around himself with a flick of his wrist. Then he dived into the void. He flew to the dragon and her baby who cowered in the dark. “I’m saving you, Samantha, and your baby. And everything else.” He created a magical net and threw it around all the objects that had been sucked into this void.
“Thank you,” said Samantha. “You look so familiar.”
“Thank you,” said the baby dragon. “My name’s Spotty!”
Curse ignored the baby. He rushed out of the void with his net, but at the last minute the void closed on him.
“Let there be a shredder!” Curse yelled.
Poof! Suddenly, there was a giant shredder. It began to shred the void, breaking up the deep, dark sides and ripping a hole in it. Curse sped with his bundle back to Earth and restored everything to what it was before.
As Curse settled things down in the cave, the shapeshifter flew into it and landed hard. The jaguar was now a sabertooth tiger. The evil whirlwind alien followed!
Curse just wanted his world back the way it was. He yelled, “Time Portal!”
A portal appeared.
He yelled, “Let this whirlwind go back where it came from.” Vortex, the whirlwind alien, was sucked through the time portal and disappeared.
Curse didn’t care much about what happened between the dragon and the sabertooth tiger-jaguar. He went back to his cloud to watch from a distance.
The dragon shot her plasma. Not all of it, just a little. When it touched the sabertooth tiger-jaguar, he screeched and jumped away. He held his paw up as if it was hurt. He ran out of the cave.
Curse decided that had been enough excitement for one day. He relaxed back on his cloud and went to sleep.
The End.
