The alien stood by her ship. From a distance, Ale watched.
“Wow!” he thought. “Another Weird Creature just like me! It looks as if she crash landed too!”
She was a lot bigger than he was. They both were quite tiny compared to other species, but she was less tiny than he was. And her ship was super huge–so much huger than they were. Unlike Ale (who was blue), this Weird Creature was pink.
The super huge space ship looked like a blue apple–a very big blue apple. A very smooth, big blue apple. Ale’s ship was much smaller, and it felt rough to the touch.
The female’s ship was burning. It smelled gassy–like burning fire. Ale worried that the gas might be poisonous. He heard popping noises to. This felt dangerous.
He slid toward her. “I am Ale. I believe we are both Weird Creatures. And I think you are in danger. Your ship is smoking.”
“Leave me alone,” the female said.
Ale decided to use his transformation ability to make himself more appealing to this female. He turned himself pink and larger than her.
“Oh-yes-now you can help me!” she said. “You look so much better. Please help me fix my ship.”
“Hmmm,” Ale said. “I still haven’t managed to fix mine. But I will try to help.”
Suddenly, something began to stomp toward them. Stomp. Stomp. Stomp. It was a very strange giant. It had two very long legs. Stomp. Stomp. Stomp. It was eating a raw chicken.
Yuck. Ale did not like raw chicken. They tasted bitter.
The creature kept stomping toward them.
“Oh no!” yelled Ale.
“Don’t worry.” The female said.
She turned invisible and she turned him invisible too. Not only were they invisible, but they were transparent.
“By the way,” she said, “my name is Blobby.”
“Nice to meet you Blobby,” Ale said.
They hid and watched the giant stomp around. But then, suddenly, they popped back into their blob states.
“Uh oh!” said Blobby.
The giant pulled out a strange device. Then it opened the device and looked through it.
“I see you!” it said. “And I’m going to squish you!”
Suddenly a unicorn flew in, on a cloud. “Jump on me,” it said to the weird creatures.
They jumped on! The unicorn flew off on its cloud with Ale and Blobby. They flew to a castle in the clouds.
“This is my home,” said the unicorn. “You are welcome to stay with us forever.”
But Ale heard something. Tick tock tick tock. “Uh oh!” he said. “I think the giant put TNT on you with a timer. We have to get it off quick!”
“Wait a sec,” said Blobby. “I don’t think it’s TNT. I think it’s–”
Kaboom!
A net flung around all of them. It had such fine netting that even the tiny Weird Creatures couldn’t escape.
“Turn us transparent!” yelled Ale.
“I can’t. It’s too soon,” said Blobby.
The net dragged them back toward the giant. Uh Oh!
Da da duh!
The “Cliffhanger” End.
