The dragon guarded his cave. Bob, the minion, watched. This was the dragon Theodore.
Theodore was guarding his baby dragons from Bob. There were seventeen baby dragons–ten female and seven male. Even though they were baby dragons, Bob wanted to eat them because they looked just like bananas and he figured that meant they tasted just like bananas too. He loved bananas more than he loved anything else, even dragons. Bananas tasted amazing–just like ice cream sandwiches, sweet and hard.
The dragon was enormous–the size of an apple. Whereas Bob was no bigger than an ant. Also, the dragon was dark maroon in color, unlike him since he was purple. The dragon’s wings were tiny and rainbow colored. Bob knew that Theodore was super slimy. He had touched him many times before. It was so cool.
But he didn’t like the way Theodore smelled–not one bit. He smelled like roses! Gross! Disgusting! All sweet and floral–ick. And this was a farting dragon which meant that every time he farted it smelled like a thousand roses–even more gross.
The dragon was being pretty quiet but he seemed to be trying to hide behind a bush in front of the cave. Bob could hear Theodore rustle, and he heard the sound of the bush rustling too.
Bob had a plan. He quickly set up a wonderful turkey feast. He knew that Theodore loved turkey best. And the feast worked because Theodore sniffed the air, yelled, “Turkey!” and lumbered off. Now Bob could sneak into the cave.
He snuck. But just when he reached the cave’s threshold, he heard Theodore roar from behind. “I smell a trap! I think Bob is here somewhere! Where are you, Bob?”
Uh-oh! Bob sprinted into the cave. He had to be fast. With his super strength, he lifted the first banana-shaped dragon baby and ran for cover. Bob ran deeper into the cave.
Theodore dived into the cave and pressed a large button with his talons. Doors slammed down and shut the cave completely. It went pitch dark. Bob couldn’t see a thing.
“I’ve got you now, Bob!” yelled Theodore. “You cannot escape. And I see you because I see my baby moving without her feet moving. You are doomed, Minion.”
Bob felt cornered. He dropped the baby and ran. He barreled straight into the cave wall. Now what should he do?
The “Cliffhanger” End.
