The dragon guarded his cave. Ash, the magical tiger watched. Ash wondered what was in the cave.
The dragon was only a little bigger than Ash. He was neon green. On the top of his head were two very sharp horns. All over his tail were long, sharp spikes. Ash thought that the dragon’s scales would be slippery smooth. The dragon’s wings were medium-sized and rainbow-colored.
Ash liked the dragon’s smell. When he lifted his head and sniffed, he sniffed grass. The dragon smelled like grass, which was a favorite odor of Ash’s. He thought grass smelled like a delectable salad.
The dragon was silent. Ash was silent. In the silence, Ash could hear a strange noise coming from the cave. It sounded like a flock of birds.
All of a sudden, a rabbit hopped in front of Ash. The rabbit was eating carrot ice cream. Ick! Ash thought carrot ice cream would be gross. He liked the smell of salad, but he really wouldn’t want to eat it.
Ash decided to make his move. He ground his teeth–his way of making magic–and suddenly – poof!- there were a whole bunch of fake dragons standing about 100 yards away.
The dragon got excited and flew over to the herd. Ash ran very fast into the cave. It was dark, but he could see. The first thing he saw was a whole bunch of very pink birds. Some of them stood on one leg. He had to save them.
He ran toward them, but then all of a sudden he was falling. He fell and fell until he landed in a dark dungeon. The dragon appeared above Ash. From the dragon’s shoulder blades, two swirls appeared and shot a gassy liquid at Ash. He got very sleepy.
Slowly he woke up. When he opened his eyes he saw a bunch of dragons staring at him from above the dungeon. A small fox showed up. He walked past each dragon and slapped each dragon in the face with his very bushy tail. Ash opened his mouth and let out a huge, magical roar. It threw the dragons into the air and then into the dungeon right across from his. They all fell very hard on their heads. The pink birds jumped into the dungeon and started to peck at the dragons.
Ash used his magic to break the bars that caged him, and he flew out of his dungeon.
He called to the pink birds, “Come with me to your freedom!”
He flew into the air and the flock of birds followed. They left the cave and flew high up into the sky.
The End.
