The Alien with Five Pink Eyes

The alien stood by his spaceship. Bob watched. The spaceship was a big oval with spikes all over its sides. It was a light red, almost pink in color.

The first thing Bob noticed about the alien was his eyes—all five of them. They were all big and bright pink. The alien was shorter than Bob but he had long legs—all three of them—and a very short, stubby body. Instead of clothing, the alien was covered in a very thick coat of black hair. The hair actually looked spiky like it would hurt to touch it.

The spikes on the spaceship also looked dangerous but the rest of the spaceship looked very smooth.

Bob was frightened. Even from a distance, Bob could smell the alien’s pungent odor—like his hair was all sweaty and the alien had been working hard. The smell was gross. To counter the disgusting scent, there was also the sweet scent of honey, as if bees were near.

Bob looked around. He saw a cluster of trees nearby and off in the distance, was the coast. He got the slightest whiff of salty water from the sea. He could hear waves crash in the distance.

Coming from the spaceship was a strange noise. He thought it might be another alien. It was very high-pitched and screeching.

The alien was eating something that looked like a dead, raw rat. Yuck!

The trees rustled in the wind. Suddenly, Bob heard a muffled scream. It came from the ship. The scream terrified Bob. What if a human was being tortured? He ran to hide behind the clump of trees. He watched the alien from the biggest tree. After a long moment, Bob crawled closer to hide behind a nearby boulder.

The alien seemed to be working on his spaceship. All of a sudden, he looked to the left and then to the right. He sniffed the air.

Bob had a very bad feeling that the alien sensed his presence. All five of the alien’s pink eyes turned to stare at the boulder Bob hid behind. Bob leaned out a little more to see what the alien was doing. The alien saw him. Bob knew this because the alien looked straight at him, all of his eyes surprised, and then started toward him. The alien held a ray gun in his hands. At least, Bob thought it was a ray gun.

Too fast for Bob to react, the alien rushed him and caught him in his grip. The alien was too strong for Bob despite Bob being considerably taller.

The alien dragged him into the spaceship. When Bob entered, he saw a dangerous scene. He first saw another human all tied up. That must have been the person who had screamed. Across from the human was a spotted cheetah who was also tied up but was straining against the ropes, trying to attack the human. No wonder the person had screamed!

Without warning the alien thrust his arm out and a sharp piece of hair flew at Bob. It gave him a terrible shock so that his whole body jolted. He smelled burnt hair and realized it was coming from him, probably a side-effect of the terrible shock.

He also smelled raw meat, maybe intended for the cheetah.

Bob took a closer look at the other human. He realized there was something strange about her. Her skin looked more like stone than like human skin. Could she be an alien too?

The alien with five eyes said, “You are my prisoner, now.”

“Why?” asked Bob.

“Because I need you.”

Bob didn’t know what to think, but he didn’t like this one bit. “I’ll do whatever you want, just let me go,” he said.

“I am sorry, but I need you so that I can dominate my planet,” the alien said.

“But why me?” Bob asked.

“Because you have special powers,” the alien said.

How did the alien know?

Bob decided he had to try to escape. He saw a Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket. He launched for it and threw it at the alien.

The alien screamed in a panic and fell back. “I’m allergic to chicken,” the alien yelled.

Bob couldn’t imagine being allergic to KFC. It smelled so good and it tasted even better.

Then he saw something he loved even more—Nachos. He grabbed the plate and ran for the door.

The alien screamed, “Not my nachos!” He raced for Bob.

Bob ran as fast as he could for the ocean. Some chips fell as he ran but he let them go. The alien was in hot pursuit but slowed down as he picked up the chips.

Bob made it to his ship, jumped on board and set sail. Bob saw the alien swimming after him.

Bob thought to himself, Why did I choose the sea over the sky?

The End.
