The Dragon Hunter

The dragon guarded her cave.  The dragon hunter watched. Her name was Kitten.  She was determined to hunt the dragon. Kitten had a goal.  She would kill the dragon, and capture the uni-kitten (that the dragon guarded) to make it her pet.

The dragon looked weird.  She had yellow hair and wrinkles all over her face and bizarrely she wore a suit. She had a big belly.  Kitten imagined that this dragon would run very slow. The dragon had teeny-tiny wings. Kitten did not think she would be able to fly.  Kitten remembered that the dragon’s name was Donald-Dab. Donald-Dab looked as if she would feel very hard to the touch. She hard tough scales. The dragon smelled fantastic – like dead fish – Kitten’s favorite.

Donald-Dab was very silent.  Suddenly, she noticed Kitten and what did she do?  She dabbed! Cha-ching! Crazy! Such a tiny, funny-looking, but great-smelling dragon dabbing?

Kitten began to floss in response. Donald-Dab stopped her dabbing and shoved a dead, rotten fish in her mouth.  Yum! Just what Kitten always craved. She adored the sweet taste with just a pinch of sour. Yum. Yum. Yum.  She so wished that she could rip that dead fish away from Donald-Dab and eat it herself.

“Hey Donald-Dab!” Kitten called. “Would you like some more dead fish?”

Donald-Dab got very excited. She dabbed and dabbed and ran around in circles, further and further away from the cave.  And straight for Kitten,

Uh-oh, thought Kitten. She began to crawl away, but Donald-Dab stomped right on her!

“Ahhh!” cried Kitten. Thank goodness, she had the special ability to survive being trampled (by tiny dragons named Donald-Dab).  She popped back into her normal ant state. (Bet you didn’t know Kitten was an ant!) Then she ran straight for Donald-Dab and launched into the air, landing on Donald-dab’s head.

From there, she jumped into the cave.  The cave was very dark. She had to adjust to the change.  Then she saw a torch way up high in the cave. She began to climb to it.  There was a swooshing sound, and the uni-kitten appeared before Kitten, flying in the cave.

“Ahh”, said Kitten, but the uni-kitten froze mid-air in fear when she saw Kitten.

Soon the uni-kitten moved closer to Kitten and began to sniff her in curiosity.  Sniff. Sniff. Sniff.

Aha! thought Kitten. Now is my chance. Ha, ha, ha, ha! She grabbed her magic lasso and flung it over the uni-kitten’s head.  Captured! she thought.

Just then the dragon burst into the cave.  “Stop!” she cried. She tried to fly up to where Kitten was and the uni-kitten hovered, but her tiny wings just didn’t work.  “Oh no!” she said.

With a loud cha-ching, the uni-kitten spawned a Pikachu. Pikachu magicked lawyers for everyone. They came up with a happy solution.  The dragon would become a dabbing clown, and the ant and the uni-kitten would agree to live happily ever after together without ever being captured or flattened!
